RBPF Nassau Crime Report: American man & woman arrested for failing to declare - Shooting - Firearm & ammo seized

POLICE SEARCHING FOR SUSPECT IN SHOOTING

Nassau, Bahamas  - According to reports, shortly after 11:30pm on Sunday 8th November 2015, a man was on was on Adderley Street, when another male shot him before fleeing on foot. The victim was transported to hospital where he remains in stable condition.

Investigations are ongoing.

FIREARM AND AMMUNITION SEIZED

Police Officers from the Central Division are reporting the recovery of a handgun with 5 rounds of ammunition that was dropped by a male suspect during a chase on Sunday 8th November 2015. Police is searching for the suspect in this incident.

AMERICAN MAN AND WOMAN ARRESTED FOR FAILING TO DECLARE

An American man and woman from Alabama, USA are in custody after they were arrested at the United States Pre-Clearance Departure Lounge at LPIA around 7:30pm on Sunday 8th November 2015 for Failing to Declare just over $26,000.00 and Making a False Declaration.
