Nassau: Island-wide manhunt for 2 suspects in Homestead St. shooting death

Nassau, Bahamas - An island-wide manhunt has been launched by police for two armed men responsible for the shooting death of a man that occurred on Saturday 25th July 2015.

According to reports, shortly before 7:00pm, a man was sitting in his Honda Accord vehicle on Homestead Street along with a female friend, when two males armed with handguns approached the vehicle and fired several shots at them before fleeing on foot. The victim died on the scene from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim’s female friend escaped unharmed.

The identity of the victim is being withheld pending identification by next of kin.Police are actively investigating all of these incidents and are appealing to anyone who may have any information regarding these incidents, no matter how small or insignificant (the tip) may seem, to anonymously call Police at 919 or CRIME STOPPERS at 328-TIPS (8477) OR 1-242-300-8476 (FAMILY ISLANDS)
