From:TheBahamasWeekly.com Royal Bahamas Police Force In the first incident, around 4:30pm on Thursday 6th August 2015, officers from the Mobile Division were on patrol, when they observed two suspicious males in a van on Madeira Street. On seeing the officers one of the males threw a handgun outside of the van. The officers retrieved the handgun that contained 7 rounds of ammunition. The officers then took the two 31 – year old males of Skyline Drive and East Ridge into custody for questioning. In the second incident, shortly before 5:00pm on Thursday 6th August 2015, officers from the Flying Squad acting on information went to Hospital Lane and Dunmore Street, where they uncovered a handgunfrom underneath a pile of trash. No one was arrested in this incident.
