Nassau: Shooting death at Freetown Lane - Man shot at Homestead Street

POLICE SEEK PUBLIC’S HELP IN FREETOWN LANE SHOOTING DEATH

Nassau, Bahamas - According to reports, shortly after 7:00am on Tuesday 5th May 2015, police received a report that a house located at Freetown Lane was damaged by gunshots. Police on arrival at the scene examined the house and discovered the lifeless body of a man with gunshot wounds to the head and shoulder. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. Police received additional information that this shooting occurred around 1:30am that same morning.

The man has been identified as 45 – year old Hoover Bain of Freetown Lane.Investigations are ongoing.

POLICE SEEK PUBLIC’S HELP IN SHOOTING INCIDENT

According to reports, around 10:30pm, on Tuesday 5th May 2015, a man was at Homestead Street, when a man armed with handgun, shot him in the left thigh before fleeing on foot. The victim was transported to hospital, where he remains in stable condition.

Investigations are ongoing.
