Nassau, Bahamas - Police have officially identified three males who were victims of recent homicides on New Providence.
They are:
Exavier Presentus age 54 years
of Kemp Road. Presentus was killed on Saturday, 9th February, 2019 while
attending a party in a Haitian Community on Cowpen Road.
Ferninand Agenor, age 54 years of
Mt. Royal Avenue. Agenor was shot and killed on Sunday, 10th February,
2019, while outside a business establishment on Robinson Road and Miami
Street.
Jamaal Kemp, age 24 years. Kemp was shot and killed on Sunday, 10th February, 2019 while at Potter’s Cay Dock.
Police are appealing to anyone with information regarding these
incidents, to anonymously call police at 919/911, crime stoppers at
328-TIPS (8477) the Central Detective Unit at 502-9991/2 or the nearest
Police Station. All information will be held in the strictest of
confidence.
97 FIXED PENALTY NOTICES ISSUED TO DRIVERS BY MOBILE
DIVISION OFFICERS IN PAST 24 HOUR
Officers from the Mobile Divisions conducted road checks in various
parts of the island. Their efforts, which were intended to educate,
reduce crime, and to minimize the ability of criminals to commit
criminal activity, resulted in the arrest of thirteen (13) persons for
outstanding criminal warrants, assault, fraud and stealing over the past
24 hours.
Additionally, 97 drivers were ticketed for various traffic
violations including, driving unregistered and uninsured vehicle,
failing to obey traffic signals and fraudulent use of license plates.
