Nassau junior high teacher robbed at school, suspects in custody - Shooting at Eaton Road

SUSPECT IN SHOOTING INCIDENT BEING SOUGHT BY POLICE

According to reports, shortly after 8:30am on Friday 31st July 2015, a man was standing in front of his home located at Eaton Road, Yellow Elder Gardens, when a man armed with a handgun approached and shot him in the thigh before fleeing on foot.

TWO SUSPECTS IN CUSTODY FOR EARLY MORNING ARMED ROBBERY

Two males ages 48 and 18 years are in custody following an armed robbery that occurred on Friday 31st July 2015.

According to reports, shortly after 7:30am, a female teacher was about to open a classroom at a Junior High School off Robinson Road, when she was approached by two males armed with a handgun. A struggle ensued resulting in the victim being struck in the head. The two suspects then robbed the victim of a cell phone and fled on foot.

Police later arrested two suspects in the Redland Acres area in connection with this incident.
