Nassau man dead after shooting on Meadow Street

Nassau, Bahamas -  Police are requesting the public’s assistance in solving a shooting incident that has left a man dead on Saturday 14th March 2015.

According to reports, shortly before 3:00am, police received a report that a man was shot at Meadows Street. When police arrived on the scene, they met a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds about the body. The man was rushed to hospital in critical condition. The man succumbed to his injuries shortly after 10:30am.

Police can confirm that the victim was on bail for a serious offence and he is also being electronically monitored.

Investigations are ongoing.
