From:TheBahamasWeekly.com Royal Bahamas Police Force According to reports, shortly after 7:00am, the deceased was a passenger in a vehicle driven by a female friend on Soldier Road West, when two men armed with handguns fired several shots at the vehicle and sped off in a Honda Odyssey vehicle. The deceased received a gunshot wound to the arm and chest. The woman drove the vehicle to the premises of the Central Detective Unit on Thompson Boulevard, where the deceased was pronounced dead by EMS personnel. A short while later, police took the woman into custody after they found a handgun with a quantity of ammunition inside of her handbag. Investigations are ongoing.
