Nassau man found dead in Culbert’s Hill area - Man shot in Providence Ave area

POLICE SEEK PUBLIC’S HELP IN SOLVING THE COUNTRY’S LATEST MURDER

(Nassau, Bahamas) Police are seeking the public’s assistance in solving a shooting incident that has left a man dead on Friday 27th February 2015. 

Reports are, that around 8:00pm police received a report of gunshots being heard in the Culbert’s Hill area off Prince Charles Drive. When police arrived in the area they discovered the lifeless body of a man laying outside a grey self drive vehicle with several gunshot wounds to the upper body. Police also found a handgun with several live rounds of ammunition in the deceased possession. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. Police has launched an active investigation into this incident.

POLICE SEEK HELP IN SHOOTING INCIDENT

According to reports, shortly after 10:00pm on Friday 27th February 2015, a man turned up at the Hospital with multiple gunshot wounds about the body. Preliminary information indicates that the man was shot in the Providence Avenue area.

Investigations are ongoing.
