Nassau murder suspect surrenders - Nov 6th homicide victim identified - Murder suspect among 23 arrests overnight

Nassau, Bahamas - Murder Suspect Surrenders to the Police - Carson Farrington who was featured during a recent police press conference surrendered to police at the Central Detective Unit around 1:00pm on Friday 7th November 2014.  

Police have identified the man shot and killed at Soldier Road West on Thursday 6th November 2014 as 21 – year old Shavaz Wray of Farrington Road. Investigations are ongoing.

Murder Suspect Among 23 Arrested During Operation - Police are reporting the arrest of another murder suspect, during a major crime ant-crime operation conducted in several communities of New Providence overnight.

• Shortly 10:00pm a 21 – year old male of Garden Hills was arrested for questioning reference to the murder of a 38- year old man that occurred on Adderley Street on 28th October 2014. Police also arrested 22 other persons for various major and minor offences including arm robbery, drugs, threats of death and outstanding criminal warrants.

The operation, which is consistent with the Commissioner’s 2014 Policing Priorities, was under the command of Chief Superintendents Clayton and Ashton Greenslade.
