Nassau police identify Thursday homicide victim - Seek help with latest stabbing

POLICE IDENTIFY HOMICIDE VICTIM

Nassau, Bahamas - Police have identified the man shot and killed at Montell Heights on Thursday 18th September 2014 as 20 –year old Akeem Oliver of Eyhel Street, Montell Heights.

POLICE SEEK PUBLIC’S HELP IN SOLVING A STABBING INCIDENT

POLICE are seeking the public’s assistance in solving stabbing incident that has left a man detained in hospital on Friday 19th September 2014.

According to reports, shortly before 6:00pm, a man was involved in an altercation with a man known to him at Taylor Street that resulted in him being stabbed to the shoulder and back with a knife. The victim was transported to hospital, where his condition is listed as stable.

Investigations are ongoing.
