Nassau police investigate 3 overnight armed robberies

Nassau, Bahamas - Police are seeking the public’s help in solving three overnight arm robberies.In the first incident, shortly before 8:00pm on Tuesday 16th September 2014, a man armed with a handgun entered a local food store on Bernard Road and robbed the manager and customers of cash before fleeing on foot.

In the second incident, shortly before 9:00pm on Tuesday 16th September 2014, a woman was driving on Robinson Road and Ethel Street, when two men armed with handguns robbed her of a black Mercedes m1350 jeep and sped off.

In the third incident, shortly before 2:00am on Wednesday 17th September 2014, a man and a woman was at a local bar located at the Ridgeland Park Mall, when two men armed with handguns robbed them of a cellphone, cash and jewelry before fleeing on foot.

POLICE are appealing to anyone with information regarding any crime, no matter how small or insignificant (the tip) may seem, to anonymously call Police at 919 or CRIME STOPPERS at 328-TIPS (8477) (New Providence) or 1-242-300-8476 (Family Islands)
