American crushed while repairing plane at LPIA - Nassau police arrest male for sacrilege

POLICE INVESTIGATE DEATH OF MALE

Nassau,  Bahamas - Police along with officers from the Civil Aviation Department are investigating an accident which resulted in the death of a male The incident reportedly occurred around 9:45 am on Thursday 28th February, 2013. According to reports the deceased, was working on a Beach 1900 N413CM aircraft at the Lynden Pindling International Airport, when the landing gears reportedly collapsed causing that area of the aircraft to fall, pinning the 41 year old male.  The victim, who is believed to be a Florida resident was pronounced dead by the Airport’s nurse. Active police investigations continue.  (Miami Herald related)

POLICE ARREST MALE FOR SACRILEGE

A 26 year old male of Lazaretto Road is in police custody after he was found breaking into a church, located on Gladstone Road. Officers of the Mobile Division arrested the man, who was also wanted on two (2) outstanding Criminal Warrants around 2:00 am on Thursday 28th February, 2013. In other matters officers of the Mobile Division arrested a 29 year old male of Hanna Road for Possession of a Forged document and a 41 year old male of Ridgeland Park on an outstanding Warrant of Arrest.
