Nassau police report 2 shootings and several overnight armed robberies

Nassau, Bahamas - POLICE SEEK HELP IN SOLVING TWO SHOOTINGS

In the first incident, shortly before 10:00pm on Wednesday 3rd February 2016, a male was standing in front of his home located at Sunset Park when the occupants of a Gold Nissan Teanna vehicle approached and shot him before speeding off. The victim was transported to hospital where he is detained in stable condition.

Then shortly before 12:00midnight a male was standing in front of his home located at Washington street when he was shot. The victim was transported to hospital where he is detained in stable condition. Investigations are ongoing.

POLICE SEARCHING FOR SUSPECTS IN SEVERAL OVERNIGHT ARM ROBBERIES

Police are searching for several suspects in four overnight arm robberies that occurred throughout New Providence on Wednesday 3rd February 2016.

During these armed robberies several individuals were robbed by armed men of a Hyundai Accent vehicle, a white Honda Inspire license number 292921 and a gray Sportage Kia vehicle, cell phones, jewelry and cash.Investigations are ongoing.

Police are appealing to anyone who may have any information regarding any crime, no matter how small or insignificant (the tip) may seem, to anonymously call Police at 919 or CRIME STOPPERS at 328-TIPS (8477) OR 1-242-300-8477 (FAMILY ISLANDS)
