Nassau police searching for 6 suspects after armed robbery

Nassau, Bahamas - Police took an armed robbery suspect into custody and have launched an Island-wide search for six other males wanted in connection with three separate armed robberies that occurred on Monday 29th November 2015.

In the second incident, shortly after 8:00pm, a man was walking on Poinciana Drive, when two men armed with a handgun approached and robbed him of cash and a cell phone before fleeing on foot. Police took an adult male into custody in connection with this incident.

In the third incident, shortly before 10:00pm, a man and a woman were parked at Dick’s Point in their 2005 Nissan Note vehicle, when two men armed with handguns approached and robbed them of their vehicle before speeding off.

Investigations are ongoing.
