Nassau police searching for convenience store armed robbers - Make drug arrest on East St.

FLYING SQUAD OFFICERS SEIZED 5 POUNDS OF DANGEROUS DRUGS, 2 SUSPECTS BEING SOUGHT

According to reports, around 4:00pm yesterday officers from the Flying Squad acting on intelligence went to a home located at East Street, Nassau near Andros Avenue to execute a search warrant for dangerous drugs and firearms. On arrival two adult male occupants of the home fled on foot. A search was conducted of the home and five (5) pounds of marijuana was found. Police are searching for the two suspects.

POLICE SEARCHING FOR TWO ARMED ROBBERY SUSPECTS

Nassau, Bahamas - POLICE are requesting the public’s help in locating two suspects responsible for an armed robbery that occurred yesterday.

According to reports, around 2:30pm yesterday, two men armed with handguns robbed a convenience store located on Wulff Road near Lincoln Boulevard of a small amount of cash before fleeing on foot.Investigations are ongoing.
