Nassau woman shot in the back outside her home, police seek public's assistance

Nassau, Bahamas - Police are seeking the public’s assistance in solving a shooting incident at Peter Street that has left a woman detained in hospital on Thursday 2nd April 2015.

According to reports, shortly before 9:00pm, a woman was at her home located on Peter Street, when two men armed with a handgun shot her to the back before fleeing on foot. The woman was rushed to hospital where she remains in serious condition.

Investigations are ongoing.
