Nassau police seize marijuana plants, and search for armed robbery suspects

POLICE SEIZE MARIJUANA PLANTS

Reports are that shortly after 8:00am on Tuesday 29th June 2016, officers from the Southeastern Division acting on information went to an Anthurium Avenue located in Garden Hills # 1, where they uncovered three large marijuana plants in the rear of an unoccupied house.

Investigations are ongoing.

POLICE SEARCHING FOR ARMED ROBBERY SUSPECTS

POLICE are searching for four suspects responsible for an armed robbery that occurred on Tuesday 29thJune 2016.

According to reports, shortly before 7:00pm, a man was walking on Cowpen Road, when four males in a white Kia vehicle armed with a handgun approached and robbed him of a gold chain and ring before speeding off.

Investigations are ongoing.
