POLICE SEARCHING FOR SUSPECT IN SHOOTING INCIDENT

Nassau, Bahamas - Police are seeking the public’s help in locating a male responsible for a shooting incident that has left a man detained in hospital on Thursday 28th April 2016.

Reports are that around 9:30pm, a man was at his restaurant located on Fox Hill Road, when a male armed with a handgun approached and demanded cash. The suspect then shot the victim before fleeing on foot.The victim was rushed to hospital where his condition is listed as stable.Investigations are ongoing.

POLICE SEARCHING FOR ARMED ROBBERY SUSPECTS

Police are seeking the public’s help in locating three male responsible for an armed robbery that occurred on Thursday 28th April 2016.

Reports are that around 10:30pm, a woman was standing outside of her home located at 5th Street and Palm tree Avenue, when three males armed with handguns approached and robbed her of a cell phone before speeding off in a gold Nissan Maxima car.

Investigations are ongoing.

SHOP BREAKING SUSPECTS ARRESTED

Two men were taken into custody shortly after they broke into a business establishment on Friday 29th April 2016.

Reports are that around 3:30am, officers from the Southwestern Division received a report of a shop breaking in progress at a tire shop located on Carmichael Road.

Moments later when officers arrived on the scene, they saw two men running out of the building. The officers gave chase and were able to arrest one of the men. Another suspect was arrested nearby in a waiting vehicle and a third suspect is being sought.
