Nassau woman shot in the back on Sutton Street

Nassau, Bahamas - Police are seeking the public’s help in solving a shooting incident that has left a woman detained in hospital on Friday 25th July 2014.

Preliminary reports indicate that shortly after 9:00am, two men armed with firearms were involved in an altercation on Sutton Street that resulted in a woman who was in the area being shot to the back. The woman was transported to hospital where she is detained in serious condition.

Investigations are ongoing.

POLICE are appealing to anyone with information regarding this incident, no matter how small or insignificant (the tip) may seem, to anonymously call Police at 919 or CRIME STOPPERS at 328-TIPS (8477) (New Providence) or 1-242-300-8476 (Family Islands)
