Nassau, Bahamas - Police are investigating two (2) separate incidents that have left two (2) men dead. The first incident occurred around 4:00 pm on Tuesday 7th
February, 2012. According to police reports two (2) men were at Marshall Road when they got into an altercation, which resulted in both men being stabbed.
The victims were taken to the South Beach Clinic where one of the males succumbed to his injuries.
The other male was taken to hospital via EMS personnel where he is detained in stable condition, in police custody. The second incident occurred around 12:40 am on Wednesday 8th February, 2012 at Hay Street off East Street and resulted in a man being shot to the head. The victim was taken to hospital via private vehicle where he succumbed to his injuries.
Police are uncertain of the circumstances surrounding this incident and are appealing to members of the public who may have any information regarding this incident to contact police at 919, 322-3333, the CENTRAL DETECTIVE UNIT @ 502-9991, 502-9910 or CRIME STOPPERS @ 328-TIPS. Active police investigations into both matters continue.

ARREST
A 20 year old male of Podoleo Street is in police custody after he was found in
possession of a handgun. Officers of the Mobile Division arrested the male around 8:45 am on Tuesday 7th February, 2012 at Podoleo Street north of Balfour Avenue. Active police investigations continue.
