Police searching for suspects in three armed robberies

Police are seeking the public’s help in locating several suspects responsible for three separate arm robberies.

In the first incident, shortly after 11:00am on Friday 24th March 2017, two men armed with handguns robbed a jewelry store in the Marathon Mall of an undisclosed amount of jewelry before fleeing on a motorbike.

Then later that night, shortly after 9:30pm, a man armed with a handgun robbed a Mini-Mart located on Carmichael Road of an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing on foot.

In the final incident, shortly after 2:00am on Saturday 25th March 2017, a woman was on St. Alban’s Drive, when a woman armed with a handgun robbed her of cash before fleeing on foot.

Police are actively investigating all of these incidents.

Police appeal for information in shooting death

Police are also appealing to the public for information to assist in their investigations into a shooting incident that has left a man dead and another detained in hospital on Saturday 25th March 2017.

According to reports, shortly after 1:30am, two males were at a club located on Quintine Alley and Wulff Road when they were shot. The two men were transported to hospital where one of them later succumbed. The other victim remains in stable condition.

Investigations are ongoing.
