Police involved shooting in Nassau

Nassau, Bahamas - According to reports shortly after 1:00pm, on Saturday 8th July 2017, police officers were on routine patrol on Marcus Bethel Way, when attempted to arrest a male for an outstanding criminal warrant. The male attacked the officers with a box cutter and was shot. The male was transported to hospital where he is detained in stable condition under police guard.

Investigations are ongoing.
