RBPF Nassau: 9 arrested by Mobile Division - 47 drivers cited

9 ARRESTED BY MOBILE DIVISION OFFICERS

Nassau, Bahamas - Consistent with the Commissioner’s Policing Priorities for 2014, Mobile Division saturation patrols intended to reduce crime and to minimize the ability for criminals to commit criminal activities reaped the following results during the past 24 hours:

One (1) arrest for Possession of Dangerous Drugs
One (1) arrest for House breaking
Two (2) arrests for Breach of the Immigration Act
Five (5) arrests for Outstanding Court Warrants

47 DRIVERS CITED BY SOUTHEASTERN DIVISION OFFICERS

Consistent with the Commissioner’s Policing Priorities for 2014, Southeastern Division officers conducted an operation in the Division on Tuesday 22nd April 2014 that targeted drivers who were in breach of the laws of the road.

The operation resulted in 47 drivers being cited for various Traffic Infractions.

Police are appealing to anyone who may have any information regarding this latest homicide, no matter how small or insignificant (the tip) may seem, to anonymously call Police at 919 or CRIME STOPPERS at 328-TIPS (8477) (New Providence) or 1-242-300-8476 (Family Islands)
