$25,000 worth of cocaine found on Castaway Cay, Abaco

Abaco, Bahamas - On Thursday 31st July 2014 around 2:30pm, police in Sandy Point, Abaco received information that a suspicious package was discovered on Castaway Cay. Officers of the Sandy Point Police Station responded and reports are that personnel of the Disney Cruise Line discovered on the beach of Castaway Cay what appeared to be a dark colored square brick shape package that was suspected to be cocaine.

Officers collected the package that tested positive for cocaine.

The estimated weight is 2.4 pounds and its estimated street value is $25,000.00.

There were no arrest in this matter, police are investigating.
