WHAT EVERY CITIZEN SHOULD KNOW:

If a police officer while in the execution of his duties asks for your name and address and you fail to give it, or you give a name in which that officer has reason to believe is false, you can be arrested and if convicted fined not less than five hundred dollars but, not more than one thousand dollars or to imprisonment for a term of three (3) months or to both the fine and imprisonment.  
 
The Royal Bahamas Police Force encourages you to report suspicious people, cars and
activities and to obey all laws as we continue with our efforts to make this Bahamas a
safer place to live, work, visit and play.
