RBPF: Homicide victims identified, 7 arrested during police operation, 5 arrested by Mobile division officers during 24 hours period

Homicide victims identified
- The first victim is 20 – year old Cordell Sean Palmer of Bradley Street, Ridgeland Park West, who was shot and killed at Klonaris Close off Soldier Road on Monday 1st December 2014. The second victim is 42 - year old Douglas Dwain Higgs of Katrine Avenue, Nassau Village, who was shot and killed at Nassau Village on Thursday 4th December 2014.

7 Arrested during police operation - Consistent with the Commissioner’s Policing Priorities for 2014, police conducted an operation in New Providence on Monday 8th December 2014, that resulted in the arrest of six males and one female for various offences such as house breaking, shop breaking and receiving. The operation was under the command of Chief Superintendent Ashton Greenslade.

5 Arrested by Mobile division officers during 24 hours period Consistent with the Commissioner’s Policing Priorities for 2014, Mobile Division saturation patrols intended to reduce crime and to minimize the ability for criminals to commit criminal activities resulted in the arrest of five (5) persons during the past 24 hours for various criminal offences.

Police are appealing to anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of wanted persons or any information about crimes and other illegal activities in their communities, no matter how small or insignificant (the tip) may seem, to anonymously call Police at 919 or CRIME STOPPERS at 328-TIPS (8477) (New Providence) or 1-242-300-8476 (Family Islands) or the nearest Police Station.
