RBPF: Illegal drugs recovered, adult male and female in custody

Nassau, Bahamas - Shortly after 6:00am, Thursday, 15th March, 2018, Drug Enforcement Unit officers, acting on information, went to a home on Venice Bay Drive off Bacardi Road, where they observed a male throwing a blue bag from the home, over a fence. Officers retrieved the bag, conducted a search of it and recovered 20 packages of marijuana. The male was taken into custody. Further inquiries led to the arrest of an adult female who was in the home at the time.
 
Weight of drugs: 20lb. Street value: $20,000.00

Investigations continue into this matter.
