RBPF: Man and woman charged in Key West St shootings - 10 suspected to appear in court on serious charges

MAN AND WOMAN CHARGED IN KEY WEST STREET MULTIPLE SHOOTING

Nassau, Bahamas - Police have charged a 21 – year old male of Bowe Avenue along with a 22 – year old female of East Street for five (5) counts of attempted murder. This is connection with the multiple shooting that occurred at Key West Street on Wednesday 29th July 2015.

The suspects are expected to appear in court at 11:00am today (Tuesday 4th August 2015) to be formally charged.

10 SUSPECTS TO APPEAR IN COURT ON SERIOUS CHARGES

Police have also charged 10 suspects for a number of serious offences over the weekend. The suspects are expected to appear in court at 10:00am today (Tuesday 4th August 2015) to be formally charged.

The suspects are as follows:

• A 27 – year old man of Tropical Gardens reference to Rape and Stealing

• A 38 – year old man of Red Bays, Andros reference to Attempted Rape

• A 19 – year old female of Dorsette Alley reference to Causing Harm

• A 30 – year old male of Cumberbatch Alley reference to Assault with a Deadly Weapon.

• A 28 – year old male of Carmen Drive reference to Burglary and Indecent Assault

• A 19 – year old female of Gamble Heights, along with two males ages 18 and15 of Yellow

Elder Gardens reference to two (2) Counts of Armed Robbery.

• A 30 – year old male of Ferguson Subdivision reference to Armed Robbery.

• A 19 – year old male of Barnyard Avenue South Beach reference to Receiving

Police are appealing to anyone who may have any information regarding any crime, no matter how small or insignificant (the tip) may seem, to anonymously call Police at 919 or CRIME STOPPERS at 328-TIPS (8477) OR 1-242-300-8476 (FAMILY ISLANDS)
