Nassau, Bahamas - According to reports, on Saturday 16th August 2014, sometime around 8:00am Mobile officers while on routine patrol in the East and Young Street were stopped by concerned citizens who provided them with some information. Acting on this information the officers conducted a search of a male and discovered a small amount of drugs and a 9mm pistol loaded with 14 rounds of ammunition. Officers later recognized the male as a person wanted in connection with the murder of Kermit Pinder at Montgomery Avenue, Flamingo Gardens on 31st May 2014, and the shooting of a police officer on 11th June 2014, while sitting in his car on the park at Millers’ Heights.

POLICE are appealing to anyone with information regarding any crime, no matter how small or insignificant (the tip) may seem, to anonymously call Police at 919 or CRIME STOPPERS at 328-TIPS (8477) (New Providence) or 1-242-300-8476 (Family Islands)
