RBPF Nassau: 13 arrested during two separate operations - Rifle seized

13 ARRESTED DURING TWO SEPARATE POLICE OPERATIONS

Nassau, Bahamas - POLICE are reporting the arrest of 13 persons in separate operations conducted by officers from the Southeastern and Southwestern Divisions on Wednesday 1st April 2015.

During the operation conducted by Southeastern Division officers, 3 persons were arrested for possession of dangerous drugs and assault with a deadly weapon.

During the operation conducted by Southwestern Division officers, 13 persons were arrested for various offences such as, house breaking, armed robbery and stealing.

Southwestern Division officers also recovered a 2013 silver Ford Explorer vehicle license number 26698 taken during an armed robbery at Coral Drive, Coral Heights last night.

RIFLE SEIZED BY SOUTHEASTERN DIVISION OFFICERS


According to reports, shortly after 11:00am on Wednesday 1st April 2015, Southeastern Division acting on intelligence went to track road off Baillou Hill Road South, where they uncovered a rifle. No one was arrested for this discovery.
