POLICE INVESTIGATE SHOOTING THAT LEFT A MALE DEAD

Nassau, Bahamas - Police are appealing to the public for help in solving a shooting incident in the Yellow Elder Gardens area that has left a male dead.

According to reports, sometime around 11:30pm on Sunday 14th September 2014, a 25 year old male was sitting on the porch of a house on Old Cedar Street in Yellow Elder Gardens when he was accosted by a lone male, who produced a handgun. They got into a struggle and the assailant shot the male once to the head before making good his escape through the bushes west of the house.

NORTHEAST OFFICERS MAKE FIREARM ARREST

According to reports, sometime around 8:30pm on Saturday 13 September, 2014 officers from Wulff Road Police Station went into the Raymond Road area, where they observed a group of males hanging out in the street. As the officers approached the men, one walked off and removed an object from his waist. Officers pursued the male and seized a 9mm pistol loaded with six bullets.
