RBPF Nassau: 2 Shootings, 1 armed robbery - Police seek public's help

POLICE SEEK PUBLIC’S HELP IN SOLVING TWO SHOOTING INCIDENTS   

Nassau, Bahamas - Police are seeking the public’s help in solving two separate shooting incidents that has left a man dead and a woman along with her teenage son and daughter detained in hospital on Friday 24th November 2014.  

In the first incident, shortly after 8:00am, a man was standing in front of his home located at Cottonwood Street, Pinewood Gardens, when a three men in a grey coloured Honda Accord vehicle license # 247646 armed with a handgun, pulled up and snatched his chain off his neck. The men then shot the victim twice in his chest before speeding off. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.  

In the second incident, around 7:00pm, a woman along with her teenage daughter and son were standing in front of their home located at Kim’s Crescent off Baillou Road, when a the occupants of a black Nissan Maxima vehicle and a Silver Nissan Teana vehicle armed with a shotgun, pulled up and fired several shots in their direction before speeding off. The woman was shot to the lower back, her son was shot in his ankle and her daughter was shot to the upper back area. The victims were rushed to hospital where they are detained in stable condition.  

Investigations are ongoing.  

POLICE SEEK PUBLIC’S HELP IN SOLVING AN ARMED ROBBERY

Police are seeking the public’s help in solving an armed robbery that occurred on Friday 14th November 2014. According to reports, shortly after 7:00pm, several women were at a residence located at Young Street off East Street, when a man armed with a handgun robbed them of their handbags before fleeing on foot. Investigations are ongoing.
