RBPF Nassau: 2 firearms seized, 3 arrests - Woman robbed of silver Honda

FLYING SQUAD OFFICERS SEIZED TWO FIREARMS IN SEPARATE INCIDENTS – 3 MALES IN CUSTODY

In the first incident, around 1:00pm on Thursday 22nd October 2015, a team of officers from the Flying Squad acting on intelligence executed a search warrant at a home located on Avocado Street, Pinewood Gardens, where they uncovered a hand gun and several rounds of ammunition. A 25 – year old man who is on bail for a number of serious offences was taken into custody for questioning.

In the second incident, around 11:00pm on Friday 23rd October 2015, officers from the Flying Squad were on patrol on Fleming Street, when they saw two males walking who aroused their suspicion. The officers conducted a search of the males and found a shotgun in their possession. The two males ages 18 and 16 were taken into custody for questioning.

POLICE SEARCHING FOR SUSPECT IN ARMED ROBBERY

According to reports, around 3:00pm on Friday 23rd October 2015, a woman had just pulled to her home located at Gulf Course Boulevard in her silver Honda vehicle license number 53337, when a man armed with a handgun approached and robbed her of her vehicle before speeding off.

Investigations are ongoing.
