RBPF Nassau: 3 arrested shortly after house breaking - Drug arrest - 2 men arrested for stolen property

3 HOUSE BREAKERS ARRESTED BY MOBILE DIVISION OFFICERS SHORTLY AFTER A HOUSE BREAKING

Nassau, Bahamas - Three males ages 21, 18 and 14, are in custody after they were arrested shortly after a house breaking on Tuesday 25th November 2014.

According to reports, shortly after 1:00pm, police received a report of a housebreaking in progress at a home located on Baillou Hill Road South. Officers from the Mobile Division responded and confirmed that a house was broken into and a flat screen television along with a video game was stolen.

The officers conducted a search of the nearby bushes and located the three suspects along with the stolen items. The three suspects were taken into custody for questioning in connection with this incident.


SOUTH CENTRAL DIVISION OFFICERS MAKE DRUG ARREST

An 18 - year old male was taken into custody for possession of dangerous drugs on Tuesday 25th November 2014.

According to reports, shortly before 2:00pm, officers from the South Central Division were on patrol on Bethel Avenue, when they observed the suspect acting in a suspicious manner. The officers conducted a search of the suspect and found a quantity of marijuana in his possession. The suspect was taken into custody and is expected to appear in court later today to be formally charged.

2 MEN ARRESTED BY NORTHEASTERN DIVISION OFFICERS FOR STOLEN PROPERTY

Two men ages 33 and 31, are in custody after they were arrested for possession of a quantity of stolen items on Tuesday 25th November 2014.

According to reports, shortly after 12:00noon, officers from the Northeastern Division were on patrol on Rosetta Street, when they observed the two suspects acting suspiciously. The officers conducted a search of a backpack the suspects had in their possession and found it to contain a quantity of cell phones and other electronic items suspected of being stolen. The two suspects were taken into custody for questioning in connection with a number of house and shop breakings
