RBPF Nassau cite 76 Drivers - Arrest 6 overnight

76 DRIVERS CITED DURING NORTHEASTERN DIVISION OPERATION

Nassau, Bahamas - Consistent with the Commissioner’s policing priorities for 2014, Northeastern Division officers under the command of Superintendent Theophilous Cunningham, conducted a police operation in the Division on Tuesday 30th September 2014.

The operation resulted in 76 drivers being cited for various traffic violations.

6 ARRESTED OVERNIGHT BY MOBILE DIVISION OFFICERS

Consistent with the Commissioner’s Policing Priorities for 2014, Mobile Division saturation patrols intended to reduce crime and to minimize the ability for criminals to commit criminal activities resulted in the arrest of nine (9) persons overnight for various minor and major offences. Additionally, 9 drivers were cited for various traffic violations.
