Nassau man robbed of grey 2003 Chevy Impala - Police make 15 overnight arrests

15 ARRESTED BY MOBILE DIVISION OFFICERS OVERNIGHT

Nassau, Bahamas - Consistent with the Commissioner’s Policing Priorities for 2014, Mobile Division saturation patrols intended to reduce crime and to minimize the ability for criminals to commit criminal activities resulted in the following arrests overnight:

Four (4) arrests for an Outstanding Court Warrants
Two (2) arrests for Possession of Dangerous Drugs
Two (2) arrests for Stolen Vehicle
Two (2) arrests for Breach of the Immigration Act
One(1) arrest for Armed Robbery and Firearm
One (1) arrest for Armed Robbery
One (1) arrest for Assault
One (1) arrest for Threats of Death
One (1) arrest for Deceit of a Police Officer

POLICE SEEK PUBLIC’S HELP IN SOLVING AN ARM ROBBERY

POLICE are seeking the public’s assistance in solving an armed robbery that occurred on Friday 18th July 2014.

According to reports, shortly after 4:00am, two men armed with a handgun robbed a man in front of his Lincoln Boulevard home of cash and his grey 2003 Chevy Impala vehicle license number 229506 before speeding off.
Investigations are ongoing.

POLICE are appealing to anyone with information regarding any crime, no matter how small or insignificant (the tip) may seem, to anonymously call Police at 919 or CRIME STOPPERS at 328-TIPS (8477) (New Providence) or 1-242-300-8476 (Family Islands)
