RBPF Nassau: Police seek public’s help in solving armed robbery - Shooting incident

POLICE SEEK PUBLIC’S HELP IN SOLVING ARMED ROBBERY

Nassau, Bahamas - Police are asking members of the public, to come forth with any information they may have in solving two armed robberies, which occurred Tuesday, 22nd May, 2018.

In the first incident, according to reports, shortly after 12:00 midnight, a man was standing outside his home on Malaysia Way, Elizabeth Estate, when he was approached by a male armed with a firearm who robbed him of cash, before getting into a gray vehicle registration # SD-4298, with another man and speeding away.

In the second incident, shortly after 1:00am, a man was standing in front of his home on Baillou Hill Road South, when he was approached by two men armed with firearms, who robbed him of cash before getting into a gray Honda Accord and speeding off.

Investigations into these matter are ongoing.

POLICE INVESTIGATES SHOOTING INCIDENT

Police are investigating a shooting incident overnight, which has left an adult male with serious injuries.

According to reports, shortly after 11:00pm, Monday, 21st May, 2018, a man was standing on the park at Bougainvillea Boulevard, South Beach, when he was approached by three men armed with firearms, who shot him before running off. The victim was transported to hospital and is listed in serious condition.

Investigations are ongoing.
