RBPF Nassau: Four Friday night armed robberies in the capital

POLICE SEEK PUBLIC’S ASSISTANCE IN SOLVING SEVERAL ARMED ROBBERIES

Nassau, Bahamas - Police are requesting the public’s assistance in solving several armed robberies that occurred on Friday 14th February 2014.

In the first incident, shortly after 8:30am a man armed with a handgun robbed a business establishment located at East Street and Taylor Streets of cash before fleeing on foot.

In the second incident, shortly before 9:00am a woman was standing outside of her home located at Fire Trail Road West, when two men armed with a handgun robbed her of her black 2007 Honda Civic car along with her wallet containing cash and other personal items. The men then sped off in the woman’s vehicle.  

In the third incident, shortly after 9:00am a man was at a business establishment located on Shirley Street, when two men armed with a handgun and robbed of his 2009 grey Toyota Corolla SD license number 3235 and sped off.

 In the fourth incident, shortly before 10:00pm a woman was standing in the parking lot of a business establishment located on West Bay Street, when a dark male robbed her of her black Chevy Malibu vehicle along with her handbag containing cash and two cell phones. The man then sped off in the woman’s vehicle.
