RBPF Nassau: Illegal firearm seized, 1 adut male in custody

Nassau, Bahamas - An adult male was taken into custody following the seizure of an illegal firearm Tuesday, 15th January, 2019.

According to reports, shortly after 7:00am, Eleuthera Division Officers, acting on intelligence, conducted a searched of a home in the settlement of Rock Sound and recovered a .45 pistol, 2 magazines and fifty-five (55) rounds of ammunition.

The male expected to be formally charged before the Magistrate Court this week.

PREVENTION CRIME TIP - TAKE A STAND AGAINST ILLEGAL FIREARMS BY COOPERATING WITH THE POLICE IN PROVIDING INFORMATION REGARDING THE WHEREABOUTS OF ANY ILLEGAL FIREARM.
