RBPF Nassau: Investigate Alleged Drowning of a 52 -year old man

POLICE INVESTIGATES ALLEGED DROWNING

Nassau, Bahamas - POLICE are investigating the alleged drowning of a 52 – year old man from Europe that occurred on Sunday 19th October 2014.

According to reports, around 12:00noon, the victim was on a snorkeling trip with several other visitors in waters off Rose Island, when he became unresponsive. Efforts by other visitors to revive the victim proved to be unsuccessful. The victim was taken to shore where he was pronounced dead.

An autopsy will be performed to determine the exact cause of death.
