POLICE INVESTIGATE ARMED ROBBERY

Police need the public’s help in solving several armed robbery.

According to reports on Monday 27th October 2014, a male resident of Kennedy Sub Division reported , sometime around 12:30am on Monday he was sitting in his 2009 Nissan Skyline at Good man’s Bay when two males accosted him armed with handguns. The men demanded him out of the vehicle and relieved him of it an Apple I-Phone. The men escaped in the vehicle.

POLICE ARREST SUSPECT REFERENCE TO MURDER

On Sunday 26th October 2014, officer from the Firearm Tracing and Investigations Unit arrested a 26yr old male resident of Yellow Elder Gardens for questioning reference to the murder that occurred at Fox Hill on Saturday 25th October 2014.

DEU OFFICERS MAKE DRUG ARREST


According to reports On Monday 27 October 2014, sometime around 12:50am a team of DEU Officers acting on intelligence stopped and searched a white Odyssey Van in the area of Chippingham near the Humane Society. The van contained five (5) crocus sacks containing suspected marijuana with a total weight of 118.2 pounds with an estimated street value of $118,000.00. The van was occupied by one Bahamian male age 34, however, three other Bahamian males ages 31, 35 and 43 were subsequently taken into custody in connection with this matter. 
 

POLICE are appealing to anyone with information regarding any crime, no matter how small or insignificant (the tip) may seem, to anonymously call Police at 919 or CRIME STOPPERS at 328-TIPS (8477) (New Providence) or 1-242-300-8476 (Family Islands)
