RBPF Nassau: Multiple shooting - Arrest for Murder - Firearm arrest - DEU make arrest for proceeds of crime

POLICE INVESTIGATE MULTIPLE SHOOTING

According to reports, sometime around 2:30am police were called to a local night spot in Fox Hill to reports of gunshots being heard. Officers discovered a large crowd in the street and observed a large amount of fired cartridges in the street. Shortly afterwards three males ages 30yrs of Marathon Estates, 23yrs of Johnson Road and 28yrs of Armbrister Street suffering from gunshots about the body.

FLYING SQUAD OFFICERS MAKE ARREST FOR MURDER

According to reports, sometime around 1:20am on Wednesday 13th August, 2014, officers from the Flying Squad arrested a 38yr old male of Montel Heights reference to the murder of that occurred at Sumner Street on Tuesday 12th August 2014.

MOBILE DIVISION OFFICERS MAKE FIREARM ARREST

According to reports, sometime around 2:55am on Wednesday 13th August 2014, officers from the Mobile Unit had occasion to intercept a Lexus vehicle on East Street after a short chase. Upon an examination of the vehicle officers seized a firearm and arrested a 31yr old male of Cable Beach and a 28yr old female of Bamboo Town.

DEU OFFICERS MAKE ARREST FOR PROCEEDS OF CRIME

According to reports, DEU officers while conducting routine duties at Lynden Pindling International Airport Domestic Lounge conducted the search of a 47yr old male of Cable Beach. This male was found in possession of a large sum of cash as he arrived from a family island. The cash is believed to be the proceeds of crime. Officers took the male into custody.
