MOBILE OFFICERS MAKE ARREST FOR VARIOUS OFFENCES

Nassau, Bahamas -  In the first incident, around 9:45am, Mobile Officers responded to a threat of death complaint at Farrington Road. Responding officers eventually arrested a 23yr old male of Macadoo Court for threats of death and stealing;

In the second incident, sometime around 12:30pm, Mobile responded to a complaint at Key West Street. The officers arrested a 26yr old female of Key West Street for disorderly behavior and obscene language;

Mobile Officers also took five persons into custody on warrants of arrest and one male for being in The Bahamas illegally

MOBILE OFFICERS MAKE ARREST FOR CAUSING HARM

According to reports, sometime around 4:00pm on Monday 11th August, 2014, officers from the Mobile Division arrested a 21yr old male of Lyon Road for causing harm.

According to reports, sometime around 5:40pm on Monday 11th August, 2014, officers from the Mobile while on patrol in the Wilson Track area arrested a 19yr old male of East Street, who was found in possession of a quantity of dangerous drugs.

FIREARM UNCOVERED BY MOBILE OFFICERS

According to reports, sometime around 7:45pm on Monday 11th August, 2014, officers from the Mobile Division acting on intelligence went to an abandoned building on Palm Beach Street where they seized a 9mm pistol and one bullet.


FIREARM TRACING AND INVESTIGATIONS UNIT MAKE FIREARM ARREST

According to reports, sometime around 2:20am officers from the Firearm Tracing and Investigations Unit were acting on intelligence and went in the area of Flamingo Avenue where they arrested a 24 yr old male, who was found in possession of a .40pistol and 9 live bullets.

POLICE are appealing to anyone with information regarding any crime, no matter how small or insignificant (the tip) may seem, to anonymously call Police at 919 or CRIME STOPPERS at 328-TIPS (8477) (New Providence) or 1-242-300-8476 (Family Islands)
