Nassau, Bahamas - Police seek the public's help in solving two (2) armed robberies:

In the first incident, shortly before 3:00pm on Wednesday 26th November 2014, two men armed with a handgun entered a bar located on West Bay Street, where they robbed a woman of her handbag containing and assortment of jewelry before fleeing on foot.

In the second incident, shortly after 11:00pm on Wednesday 26th November 2014, a man was in front of his West Bay Street home, when two men armed with firearms robbed him of cash and his blue 2013 Kia Rio vehicle before speeding off.

Investigations are ongoing.

Police seek the public's help in solving a shooting incident - Police are seeking the public’s help in solving a shooting incident that occurred on Wednesday 26th November 2014.

According to reports, shortly after 9:00pm, a man was at Windsor Place off Soldier Road, when two men armed with a handgun approached him and shot him to the left side of his body. The man was transported to hospital where he is detained in stable condition.

Investigations are ongoing.

POLICE are reporting the arrest of 16 persons for a number of serious offenses including and armed robbery and dangerous drugs during three separate anti-crime operations on Wednesday 26th November 2014.The operations were aimed at disrupting crime groups and targeting persons involved in criminal activities, such and Drugs and Firearms, Persons wanted for various criminal offence.

Offenders, Persons wanted for Outstanding Court Warrants and motorists operating in Breach of the Traffic Laws.

The operations, which are consistent with the Commissioner’s 2014 Policing Priorities, were under the command of Chief Superintendents Theophilus Cunningham, Ashton Greenslade and Elburt Ferguson.
