RBPF Nassau: Man shot in Peardale area - Stolen vehicle recovered - 14 arrests

Stolen Vehicle Recovered - 14 Arrested - (Nassau, Bahamas) Consistent with the Commissioner’s Policing Priorities for 2015, Southwestern Division officers conducted an operation in the division on Tuesday 24th February 2015 that targeted persons wanted for various criminal offences.

During the operation 1 vehicle suspected of being stolen was recovered and 14 persons were arrested for various offences such as stolen vehicle, housebreaking, stealing and outstanding court warrants.The operation was under the command of Superintendent Matthew Edgecombe.

Police Seek Public's Help in Solving a Shooting Incident - According to reports shortly after 9:00pm, on Tuesday 24th February 2015, a man was walking in the Peardale area, when he was shot in the leg and arm by a man known to him. The victim was rushed to hospital, where he remains is stable condition.

Investigations are ongoing.
