RBPF Nassau: Man shot in Yellow Elder Gardens - Man arrested for stolen vehicle

Nassau, Bahamas  - Police are seeking the public’s assistance in solving a shooting incident that has left a man detained in hospital on Wednesday 29th October 2014.According to reports, shortly after 11:00pm, a man was walking on Derby Drive, Yellow Elder Gardens, when a man armed with a handgun shot him in the chest and fled on foot. The victim was transported to hospital, where he is detained in serious condition.Investigations are ongoing.

2 Arrested by Mobile Division Officers for Stolen Vehicle - According to reports, around 10:30pm on Wednesday 29th October 2014, Mobile Division Officers acting on intelligence arrested a 34 - year old man of Baillou Hill Road South and a 24 - year old man of Sunshine Park for possession of a stolen vehicle.Investigations are ongoing.

POLICE are appealing to anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of wanted persons or any information about crimes and other illegal activities in their communities, no matter how small or insignificant (the tip) may seem, to anonymously call Police at 919 or CRIME STOPPERS at 328-TIPS (8477) (New Providence) or 1-242-300-8476 (Family Islands) or the nearest Police Station
