RBPF Nassau: Police Seek Publics Help In Overnight Shooting Death and Solving Two Armed Robberies

POLICE SEEK PUBLICS HELP IN OVERNIGHT SHOOTING DEATH

Nassau, Bahamas - Police are asking the public to come forth with any information they may have in solving an overnight shooting that has left a man dead on Friday 30th June 2017.

According to reports, shortly after 10:00pm, Police received a report that a man had been shot in the area Nassau Street near Meadow Street. Responding officers arrived on scene and met the lifeless body of a man on the ground, who had been shot. The man was pronounced dead on the scene.

Police can confirm that the victim was being electronically monitored, and is on bail for murder.

Investigations are ongoing.

POLICE SEEK PUBLICS HELP IN SOLVING TWO ARMED ROBBERIES

Police are asking the public to come forth with any information they may have in solving two separate armed robberies that occurred on Friday 30th June 2017.

In the first incident, around 4:00pm, a woman was sitting in her black 2007 Toyota Passo vehicle license plate number AD7279 on Dennis Court off Sea Breeze Lane, when three males approached armed with handguns and robbed her of her cell phone and purse. The assailants then sped off in the woman’s vehicle.

In the second incident, around 11:30pm, a man along with a female friend were sitting in his dark coloured Honda vehicle on Yamacraw Beach, when two men armed with handguns approached in a Silver Honda

Accord and robbed him of his vehicle before speeding off.

Investigations are ongoing.
