Female dead after stabbing incident in Nassau - Liquor store robbed on Carmichael Rd.

POLICE CONTINUES INVESTIGATIONS INTO COUNTRY’S LATEST HOMICIDES

Nassau, Bahamas - Police are continuing to investigate two stabbing incidents, Friday, 4th May, 2018, which have left two persons dead.

In the first incident, according to reports, shortly after 6:00pm, a female got into an altercation with a man who is known to her, while at Malcolm Road off Baillou Hill Road, resulting in her being stabbed. She was transported to hospital and a short time later was pronounced dead.  

In the second incident, shortly after 11:00pm, an altercation occurred at Potters Cay Dock between a group of men, resulting in one male being stabbed about the body. Paramedics were called to the scene and attempted to revive the victim but were unsuccessful. He was pronounced dead at the scene.  

Investigations are ongoing.

POLICE SEEK PUBLIC’S HELP IN SOLVING ARMED ROBBERY

Police are asking members of the public, to come forth with any information they may have in solving an armed robbery, which occurred Friday, 4th May, 2018.

According to reports, shortly after 9:00am a male armed with a firearm, entered a liquor store located in Carmichael Road and robbed an employee of cash, before fleeing on foot.

Investigations are ongoing.
