Nassau police investigate two armed robberies

Nassau, Bahamas - Police on New Providence are seeking the public’s assistance with any information which can assist in solving two armed robberies which occurred Monday, 22nd October, 2018.

In the first incident, according to reports, shortly after 11:00am a woman was sitting in her vehicle at the junction of Prince Charles Drive and Beatrice Avenue, when she was approached by a man armed with a firearm, who robbed her of her handbag, which contained cash and other personal items, before running away.

In the second incident, according to reports, shortly after 8:00pm, a man had just arrived at his residence at Iguana Avenue, when he was approached by a male armed with a firearm, who robbed him of cash, before making good his escape.

Investigations are ongoing.
